Here’s my elevator pitch.
Picture this: I walk into an elevator with you and you’re the coolest person ever so I have to introduce myself. I say “I’m Anjana Patel, I’m from Houston, TX, went to Boston University and I’m definitely one of the most fun people you’ll ever meet but I'm also super locked-in and disciplined.” *cue Best of Both Worlds by Hannah Montana as the elevator music.
Now it's getting close to your floor so I tell you the important stuff. “On the weekends, I'm a perpetual eventgoer because I don't know how to sit still. But I do know how to dance, ice skate, fence (I took one class and sucked), shop vintage, do Instagram story takeovers, and write good copy.”
*ding* The elevator door opens and just as you step out I hit you with a “Talk tomorrow?" and hand you a card with my number hoping we actually do talk tomorrow. *end scene*
